new glasses

We just got back from the optomitrist. We've ordered Liz and Michele new glasses. Michele thought that John would need glasses too, but he doesn't. In his right eye he has deep-set amblyopia (lazy eye). You can't tell by looking at him. He sees well enough with both eyes, but his right eye has very poor vision. Glasses won't even help him. We're going to find a pediatric opthamologist to take him to (any suggestions?). He'll have this all his life but maybe they can do something for him. He's probably had it since birth. It's most likely genetic, Uncle Brian has the same thing.
