Alex's birthday party

 My little Alex turned 5 years old.  He wanted a Toy Story party.  Cakes at Walmart with toys are $20.  I bought toys at Dollar Tree and this cake cost me about $6.  It's supposed to be toys in the mud.

 Alex had been playing with the candles, so when it came time to put candles on his cake I could only find 4.  I found them a few days later in his room.

 At first he wanted chocolate cake with strawberry frosting.  I talked him into strawberry cake with chocolate frosting.  I didn't like the idea of making a pink cake for a boy's birthday.

 We borrowed my brother's bouncy house again.  Always a hit.  We made airplanes out of foam and stickers (kits from Oriental Trading).  Here they are eating their ice cream.  One of the few times they were sitting still.

He loves getting presents.
