Pioneer Day

My mom and dad did a family home evening for us in preparation for Pioneer day.  We heard stories about some of our ancestors that were pioneers.  Then they did a treasure hunt that compared things they did back then to how we do them today.

 Here is the covered wagon treat they got to make.  Michael had help with his.  Alex didn't want to follow the pattern exactly.

Elizabeth's didn't behave exactly like she wanted it to (even though her's was the best).  Johnny made his.  Their favorite part was, of course, eating them.
