Kindergarten Graduation

Johnny graduated kindergarten at the end of May.  He didn't want to leave, but he is ready to go on to bigger and better things.

Mrs. Hayes AM kindergarten class sang a couple songs for us.  Mrs. Hayes gave me and another mom a set of 3 small birds to thank us for all our help this year.

Here are Mrs. Hayes and her aide Mrs. Martin.  They are wonderful teachers.  Mrs. Martin lead the reading group for John and the other high readers.  For 1st grade, John will have Mrs. Ley (the former Miss Grant).  I've heard she is a good teacher.  This past year she did a teacher exchange with Mr. Kenny.  She taught in England while he taught at our school.  She got married while in England.  I'm sure she'll have lots of good stories to tell the kids.
