Here are the cupcakes that Elizabeth picked out of my new cupcake cookbook. It's a cupcake cut in half with a scoop of ice cream in the middle. Then I added edible glitter on the top. Her party had a fairy theme.

Dave and I found a sparkler in the shape of a nine to put on top of her cupcake. Here she is overreacting for her friends.

Here she is posing with her loot from her party.

The first craft we did was the photo holder. A hot glue gun made this craft much faster. We then went outside and had a treasure hunt. The girls were 8, 9 and 10, but still needed hints to find the clues. The treasure was fairy rope pens hung up in our tree. They used watercolor paints to paint the dragonflies. Then they ate their cupcakes while playing 'Pass the Parcel'. Liz got this tiny fairy kite in the parcel. The party went well even though I had planned to many activities for an hour and a half party. I don't like two hour parties anymore because I have too many bored kids. An hour and a half is usually about right.

AAAAAH! Happy Belated Birthday beautiful girl! Okay so Aunt Emily totally messed up and missed it, (my birthday calendar is buried under a pile of things taken off the wall so I can paint.) A Birthday card is headed your way pronto!
