Our latest project

For the past two summers, we've had weeds in out backyard. Not just a couple, but the whole thing is weeds. We're sick of it.

Dave borrowered a neighbor's rototiller and dug up the whole back yard.

I raked it into piles and we're currently going through the piles and taking out the big rocks and weed clumps.

The next step is for Dave to triple seed it and next spring we hope to have a nice lawn that grows so thick that the weeds can't find a place to get in. We're also going to add seed to our front lawn to get it looking better. A few of Dave's coworkers tried this same method and it worked out very well for them. We hope it works for us, it'll be so nice to have a real lawn in the backyard.
