first days of school

School is back in session. Happy days for all of us except for Alex, who thinks he should be going to school too. Liz is in 3rd grade. We met Mrs. Morrise last year when she helped John get into preschool and we believe that she'll be great for Liz. She is going to talk to the reading specialist at the school and they are going to find a challenge for Liz. Maybe reading the Newbery Award books.

My baby John is growing up. His kindergarten teacher is Mrs. Hayes. She knows that Johnny is reading already and promises me that she'll keep him reading on his level (which is about 2nd grade).
