ward Pioneer Day dinner

One of the activities at the dinner was a stick pull. Johnny had fun with that. Here he is with Andrew, from his primary class. This was a very even match. John won only because Andrew let go. Here he is with his friend James. James is older, but they will both be in kindergarten this year. James was the stronger one and he won this round. Alex had to have his turn too. Johnny won. Liz didn't want to be left out. Even with a broken arm, she pulled against an older girl and her "elbow jabbed [her] stomach when [she] let go." She started screaming and had to be carried off of the stage. All in all, it was a fun activity.
