Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house

We went to the open house for the Oquirrh (o-ker) Mountain Temple last weekend.

Look at Moroni's trumpet arm. Notice that it is black? It's not a shadow, it was hit by lightning a couple weeks ago. They haven't gotten around to cleaning it up yet. I certainly wouldn't want to me the one to do it.

Here is most of my Larkin family. Dixon, Carol, David, Megan, Alexander, Elizabeth, Michael, Michele, Sarah, Jonathan, and Rich. Missing is Jeff, Emily and Max. A few more members will join our ranks in a few months.

My kids were pretty good. The promise of a cookie at the end helped.

Here are my kids again along with Aunt Sarah and Grandpa Dix. Notice how Alex is right at home even upsidedown. Such a silly monkey.
