Michael finally started smiling at 9 weeks. Most babies start smiling at 6 weeks old. I was beginning to worry that he may be autistic. In Parenting magazine they had a short list of things to look for: not smiling by 6 months, no babbling by 1 year. Mikey is now smiling and cooing. I'm no longer worried. He should be fine.

Finally!
