Fairy Tea Party

The annual Provo City Library Fairy Tea Party is a tradition for Lizzy, John and I. Liz and I have been going since they started it. John has been going since just before he turned 3. I'm excited to take Alex with us next year. This is Liz and John with the fairy king and his court. The king is the manager of the whole library.

John is a woodland sprite, not a fairy. Liz calls him a sparrowman. We spiked his hair and I used brown eyeshadow to make his face look dirty. Dave and I made him some boy wings out of wire hangers, panty hose and spray paint.

We do up Liz's hair special every year. She has glitter lip gloss on her lips and in her eyebrows. I would have done more, but we couldn't find the purple eyeshadow and we ran out of time.
