Johnny's 8th birthday party

Johnny had a Goosebumps party this year.  Mom gave me Goosebumps party supplies that she had gotten years ago and didn't use.
On the inside of the invitation, I put in a little monster that popped out when you opened the card.
I made 'Fundamiddles' (chocolate cake with white icing inside) and decorated them with monster eggs (Nerds jellybeans), candy bones and green sprinkles.
The kids made monster magnets as a craft.
 cups and napkins
We went outside and told jokes (monsters tell jokes in Monsters Inc.) and made monster faces.  In each goodie bag, I put monster candies and a Goosebumps book that I got from DI.

I'm not tired....zzzz

pizza time

The kids got coupons for free Mini Murph pizza kits from school.
Mikey was the cutest to watch (sorry kids) because he had never done it before.

books

They were too quiet, I had to see what was going on.  They love their Aunt Erin and books.

Color Festival

Aunt Erin took Liz to the Color Festival at the Hare Krishna Temple in Springville.  Erin goes every year and has a blast.  Liz, not so much.  She's covered in colored cornstarch but insisted on washing off her face before they came home.  You should have seen the tub after she took a shower!  Luckily it wasn't a permenant color.

Lizzie's 11th birthday party

Here is the invitation I came up for Eliza's Percy Jackson birthday party.  That is a black pegasus on it.
Invitations rolled up in scrolls with blue (Percy Jackson's and Liz's favorite color) ribbon.
Here are the girls making invisibility caps, like Annabeth's.  They also played word games about the books.
Liz claims she doesn't like cake, so we made brownies for her party.  Blue napkins, ocean cups and brownies with greek god symbols on them.
Liz did the blue icing symbols.  This one is the moon, for Artemis (Liz's favorite greek goddess).

Bike riding

Here is Alex riding his two-wheeler without training wheels.  He loves riding his bike!
Here's Liz up on her new bike pulling Mikey in the trailer.  Her helmet is in her basket.  Why won't she wear it?
John has always been a cautious kid.  Dave finally got him up on 2 wheels after his training wheels broke.  He won't let Dave let go.
A week later, after much whining on John's part and determination on Dave's part, John is finally up on 2 wheels and loves it.  Just Mikey left!

robin

First robin of Spring.

Mikey is three!

It's as big as he is.  Happy birthday, baby!

Dole Salad House Party

Just a couple pictures from my Dole Salad House Party.  I ended up with so many toppings you couldn't see the salad.  I did an open house and invited everyone on the ward facebook page to come over for lunch.  It was fun.
